Helping you to take control and live life on your terms.

What is Financial Therapy?

The Financial Therapy Association defines it as “a process informed by both therapeutic and financial competencies that helps people think, feel, communicate, and behave differently with money to improve overall well-being through evidence-based practices and interventions.”

What does that mean in real terms? Many people have “stuff” around money and their finances that can significantly impact their relationships and how they function in life. Financial therapy is just like therapy but focused on your relationship with money. It helps you develop a healthier relationship with money and healthier behaviors with money is the outcome.

Do you only see clients who want financial therapy?

Definitely not! I enjoy working with people who are struggling with various issues including but not limited to:

  • Racial Identity issues

  • Financial traumas and anxiety

  • General anxiety

  • Relationship issues

  • Life transitions

  • Depression

  • Work stress

  • Family dynamics

  • Grief
